Proceso educativo y herramientas TIC en tiempos de pandemia

Resumen

La pandemia por COVID-19 se convirtió en un catalizador para que las instituciones educativas a nivel mundial buscaran soluciones innovadoras en un período de tiempo relativamente corto, considerando que, aproximadamente, 1.500 millones de niños y jóvenes en 195 países se vieron afectados por el cierre de escuelas y universidades debido a la crisis decretada. Adicionalmente, representó un periodo crucial para la profesión docente, debido que, capacitados o no, toda una nueva generación de docentes debió familiarizarse de manera efectiva con procesos digitales, impulsados por el aprendizaje a distancia. La presente revisión bibliográfica se desarrolló con el objetivo de analizar la aplicación de las herramientas TIC sobre los procesos educativos en tiempos de pandemia, lo cual permitió aportar datos relevantes acerca de la situación previa y durante la crisis por COVID-19 de la relación tecnología-educación. Concluyendo que cuanto mayor era el uso previo declarado de las TIC, mayor y más constructivo fue el uso durante la pandemia.
